Ready to get healthy, lose/gain weight, boost energy or fine-tune your athletic performance goals… but need some extra guidance and motivation? Foundation Nutrition Coaching is not just limited to CrossFit Salus members; our nutrition coaching services are designed to accommodate anyone, anywhere.

What do we do?

We know that nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all approach, which is why we provide evidence-based, intensive nutrition coaching that is tailored to your unique, individual needs. Whatever your goals may be, you’ll receive the accountability and coaching to successfully transform your mind, body, and spirit.

Who is your Foundation Nutrition Coach?

Your Foundation Nutrition Coach, Angela Salveo, Pn1, CF-L2, is highly specialized and trained in fitness, wellness and nutrition; she is a CrossFit Level 2 (CF-L2) trainer, certified American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Wellcoach, received her Bachelors in Exercise Physiology from Iowa State University in 2004 and is a certified Precision Nutrition (Pn1) Coach. Working in the health and fitness industry for over 19 years, she’s extremely passionate about helping people achieve their goals.

What you will receive with your custom 3-month Foundation Nutrition Coaching program:

When you begin your custom 3-month Foundation Nutrition Coaching program (12-weeks), you will receive:

  • Initial consultation.

During this first 45-min session, we will assess your lifestyle, eating habits, discuss your goals and create your road map for reaching them effectively. This can be done via phone or in-person.

  • Personalized nutrition guidance that will lead to lasting results.

After your first coaching session, your coach will provide you with recommendations based on your initial assessment and 3-day food log review via MFP*.

  • Professional feedback and total accountability with follow-up coaching communications.

Unlimited access to your Foundation Nutrition Coach by email to discuss progress on your plan and cover other nutrition topics in depth including things like helping you better understand nutrition labels, counting macros, food timing, eating to perform and managing food cravings, etc.

  • Personal coaching and goal setting support.

Twelve weekly 15-minute phone check-ins and ongoing support. This includes “homework” assignments geared toward teaching you how to eat and live to achieve your goals, discussing next steps, overcoming obstacles, and much more.

  • Monthly plan adjustments.

Assessments to review nutritional progress that will guide you step-by-step closer to your goals and communication packed with motivation, tips, education, healthy recipes, etc.

Foundation Nutrition Coaching Maintenance Program

  • Once you complete your first 12 weeks, you will have the option to continue with the same level of accountability frequency as above or move into our 3-month maintenance program. The Foundation Nutrition Coaching Maintenance program includes goal setting, food log reviews via MFP, monthly 15-min phone check-ins (vs. weekly), ongoing online support, professional feedback and total accountability, monthly re-assessments and plan adjustments.

  • Body composition and body fat measurements to evaluate progress.

  • Food Analysis. No time to record your food in My Fitness Pal? Your coach can do this for you at an additional price that includes: 3-day diet record analysis, detailed report explaining results, breakdown of calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat, micronutrient review, review areas of strength and areas of improvement in current diet.

  • Fitness plan. Need some structure for your workouts? Your coach will create a personalized fitness plan (3 workouts/week) that compliments your nutrition needs.
