Calling all CrossFit Salus Kids!

CrossFit Salus Kids End-Of-Summer Schedule

Mark your calendars for end-of-summer classes:

  • Monday, August 28
  • Wednesday Aug. 30

4-4:30 PreKids 4-6yo (ending with a game)
4:25-4:55 Kids 7+ yo (starting with the game)

Starting Wednesday, September 6, we’ll move to our new fall schedule:


4:25-4:55 (kids 7+)


11:15-11:45 (prekids 4-7yo)

11:40-12:10 (kids 7+)

CrossFit Salus Kids Membership

To accommodate scheduling and allow some flexibility, at CrossFit Salus we offer a 5-session package ($62.50) that your child has two months to utilize.

Please note, to encourage consistency, the 5-pack expires in 2 months from the start date.

Pay via check or cash with your child’s name on the envelope; members may pay via CC through Wodify. A 10% family discount for any additional children is still applicable (additional children=$56.25 for 5 sessions).

Tracking Attendance

CrossFit is the sport of fitness. Consistency is key in the success of any sport, no matter the age.

Please remind your child to write their name on the whiteboard before class to take attendance.

CrossFit Kids Homework

Kids who complete the extra homework or challenges during the week will be entered into a raffle for something CrossFitty-Cool. Encourage your child to write down their workouts in a log-book (bring these to each class so I can check).

See last week’s homework as an example.

Jump Rope Reminder

In the interest of time, please have your child bring their own jump rope to each class.

(You don’t have to go crazy – you can get them for under $20 and size them so they can be adjusted with your growing beansprout.)

CrossFit Kids Safety Reminder

Your child’s safety is paramount to the coaches, and it is with this focus we need your help. Below are some rules that we must enforce as a CrossFit Community to best protect your child:

1. We encourage parents to remain on-site for the Pre-Kids, but please remain in the lobby area. Parents of Kids class (7+) may drop off or stay on-site. (Unless pre-arranged with the head coach, the children are only allowed to go home with the person who drops them off.)

2. Remember to bring water, jump rope and workout log book (kids) to each class.
3. If other children come with you while your registered child is participating, please help them to stay in the lobby.
4. Payment is due prior to class participation via Wodify/CC (members) or in cash or check (nonmembers).
5. A waiver, signed by a parent or legal guardian, is required for each child before he or she is allowed to participate in a class.
6. Ensure your children are wearing clothes and sneakers appropriate for running, jumping, rolling, pulling, swinging, climbing, crawling, throwing, and being upside down.
7. While in the box, please allow the coaches to do our job, and refrain from coaching your child from the sideline. Feel free to hang in the lobby during class.
8. Children with disciplinary problems: first warning-free of consequence, second warning-sit out the first two minutes of the game, third warning-go to the parent.
9. Finally, please make the head coach aware of any special needs for your children that may facilitate their individual safety, learning, and growth (i.e., medications, illness, physical/mental limitations, injury, sports, etc.).
