All new members start with CrossFit On-ramp.

Private CrossFit on-ramp classes will prepare you for the group CrossFit classes and teach you how to prevent injuries and move correctly. It is the stepping stone to our group training classes.

The emphasis of our CrossFit on-ramp program is:

skill development and exposure to basic movements.

CrossFit on-ramp is specifically designed to prepare you to enter our ongoing group CrossFit classes. We will zero in on technique to ensure your safety and success for the next level. Because, at CrossFit Salus in Middletown, NJ, our members are our number one priority. Everything we do reflects this—from our customized programming and top-notch coaching staff, to our family-friendly environment and strong community spirit. Our desire is to provide you with the best possible training experience every time you step in the gym.

On-ramp is required for everyone who desires to train at CrossFit Salus. There is no prerequisite fitness level for getting started in CrossFit on-ramp.

If you are coming from another box, you have the opportunity to test-out.

You will learn technique and mechanics first, then intensity.

In on-ramp, you will be introduced to the nine foundational movements of CrossFit and learn progressions for higher skilled movements. You will learn all basic movements (such as the pushup and squat) to the more technical exercises (such as the deadlift and snatch).

The difficulty of your workout is ultimately in your hands…the degree that you push yourself is individualized.

It is our goal to help you become familiar with these movements so you are more prepared for what you will see in class.

Changes in body composition are one of the most motivating ways to measure success. We highly encourage you to take “before” pictures at the beginning of your journey.
